In
2005, WiPM SIG did a membership survey to assess our overall
performance in regard to meeting the expectations of our members
and overall objectives as an organization. What did we learn
? A couple of things--the first being we need to be better educated
about conducting surveys ! Our response rate was low, in our
opinion--only 318 out of approximately 2,600 members. On the
plus side, we were reassured that our publications and Yahoo
Community were well-received. Attached
are those results, if you would like to know more. The SIG
leadership will build upon these lessons learned for our next
membership survey!
